This site sets no cookies and embeds no external fonts, maps or videos. It does record which pages are opened and which buttons are clicked. That is handled by analytics software running on my own server, without cookies and without passing anything to third parties; details are below. There is no cookie banner either, because nothing is stored on your device that you would have to consent to.
When you open this page, your browser transmits technically necessary data which the server stores in log files: the address requested, the time, the amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer and IP address. This data serves solely the secure and trouble-free operation of the site. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other sources and the logs are deleted after a short period. The site runs on servers I administer myself; no hosting provider processes the data on my behalf. The machines are located in the data centre of Keyweb AG, Erfurt (Germany). As its operator cannot technically rule out access entirely, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with them.
To see which content is actually read, I use Umami, open-source analytics software running on my own server (stat.schiffler.eu). Nothing goes to an analytics vendor, to Google or into an advertising network. Recorded are the page opened, the referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language setting, the country derived from the IP address, and clicks on buttons, links and screenshots. No cookies are set, and nothing is stored on or read from your device. The IP address itself is not kept; it only produces an identifier that cannot be reversed and that changes daily. Recognising you beyond that day, or across other websites, is therefore impossible. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understandable analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you prefer not to be counted, any content blocker that stops the script from stat.schiffler.eu will do. The site works fully without it.
If you send me an e-mail, I process your details solely in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.
This page links to wordpress.org, to playground.wordpress.net (the live demo) and to schiffler.eu. Once you follow a link, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply; I have no influence over their processing. Merely viewing this page transmits nothing to them.
This policy covers this website only. The plugin “Squadeno – Club Sports Manager” processes data on your WordPress installation, where you are the controller. Out of the box it contacts no external server at all. Maps (OpenStreetMap), address lookup (Nominatim) and spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) are optional and switched off by default. Which services are contacted under which setting is documented in the “External services” section on the plugin page.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent one here is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
